COLLECTORS' CORNER
Paula Colette: "This was an extraordinary show. Seeing so many Lynn paintings in a fairly small space is almost overwhelming. The works were painted over a twenty year period, from early watercolors, to large abstracts and her signature red New Mexico landscapes. The collection includes figures, still lifes and landscapes. It was especially compelling to see the progression in her work. Lynn had an unusual ability to grasp the essence of a painter she admired and incorporate it in future works and make it truly her own. Matisse, Cezanne, Diebenkorn, Roualt, Zaring and Frank and more live in Rowan Myers paintings. "

"I love to sell art. Knowing that the artist will be able to continue painting, knowing the piece will live in someone's home and become a part of their family's lives; it's the best feeling!"
Paula was born in New York City and raised in Belguim. Her art career began when she taught craft lessons to children in her parents' Forest Hills apartment complex when she was seven, and designed cards for her parents' party invitations in Brussels. With a degree in Fine Art from the University of Colorado Paula has been involved in galleries, painting and framing for more than twenty years. She works in pastels and watercolors and has sold her own works to collectors around the world.
