Carol Jenkins

with the gallery since 2009

Carol Jenkins enjoys "Painting just about anything - landscapes, interiors, buildings and figures, but my greatest love is plein air painting. The weather, the light, and the land all become part of me. Heading out into nature, looking around and being inspired by a beautiful composition and translating that to my canvas right then and there is always exciting to me."

Carol was awarded "Best of Show" in the PAAC (Plein Air Artists of Colorado) Show in Boulder in September 2017.

Carol's work was featured in " Portfolio: Landscapes " in the February 2011 SouthWest Art Magazine; she was accepted into the 2012 Colorado Governor's Show, and exhibited in the prestigious "The Russell: The Sale to Benefit the C.M. Russell Museum"..

She also won an Award of Excellence at the August 2011 Rocky Mountain Plein Air Painters Show in Pagosa Springs. The Sangre de Cristo Museum in Pueblo accepted Carol Jenkins' work for their "Representing the West" Show. Jenkins also exhibited in the CM Russell Museum's "Masters in Miniature" in Great Falls, Montana. And in 2014: Award of Merit, Plein Air Artists Colorado, 18th Annual National Juried Show.
