" Every child who leaves us is an angel and they deserve the most beautiful wings in the world, butterfly wings. We hope to offer a new Butterfly every year."
Paula Colette Conley, Gallery Director and Owner

Our butterfly pendants measures just a bit over an inch. Our silver is a special "deox" sterling silver which will delay tarnishing. Our gems are untreated diamond cut 3mm deep sapphires from Sri Lanka.

"Ariel", our first Butterfly Angel Pendant - 2009
Ariel means literally "Altar" or "Lion of God", and occurs in the Old Testament, where it is used as a label for Jerusalem. When Ariel is near you, you may begin seeing references to or visions of lions around you.  Ariel is also associated with the wind. Ari for short, also oversees the sprites, the Nature Angels associated with water.  Ariel is involved with healing and protecting nature, including animals, fish and birds.  If you find an injured bird or other wild animal that needs healing, call upon Ariel for help.

The Butterfly Program, sponsored by The Children’s Hospital and Porter Hospice of Centura Health, has filled a unique and relatively empty niche in the Denver community since 1999. The program provides comprehensive pediatric palliative care, serving families with children who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness, and who are likely to have less than twelve months to live. Butterfly patients receive palliative and comfort care, either at home or in the hospital. Services are provided to any child with a potentially life-limiting or potentially terminal illness regardless of the current goals of their care, the setting within which the care is provided or the family’s ability to pay for services.
